Pelvic Floor Physical Therapist
I was born and raised in the sunny state of Florida where I enjoyed spending time with my family and friends, visiting the beach, local theme parks, and nature parks. I attended Andrews University in Michigan where I graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science Degree and then went on to earn my Doctor of Physical Therapy Degree in 2017. I began my career treating in outpatient orthopedics, however quickly developed an interest in Women’s Health when I realized how many women suffer in silence, shame, and embarrassment regarding their pelvic floor dysfunction. My mission is to empower, guide, and help women who are experiencing any form of pelvic floor dysfunction. I want every individual to know that there is help and there is hope!
I have gone through extensive specialized training including, but not limited to, training through the Herman & Wallace Pelvic Rehabilitation Institute, an industry leader in pelvic floor education, research, and practice. I absolutely love specializing in pelvic floor rehabilitation and working as a Women’s Health Physical Therapist. There is nothing that makes me happier than hearing the joy and excitement in my patients’ voices as they express to me that they were able to be intimate with their partner without pain, crush their gym workout without heaviness or pressure in their pelvic floor, jump on the trampoline with their kids without peeing, and make it through their week without pelvic pain.
Compassion, Empathy, Altruism, Integrity, and the Pursuit of Excellence.
My precious mother once told me, “Shoot for the moon. Even if you miss, you’ll land among the stars. Shoot for the stars, and you’ll end up in some farmer’s field somewhere.” While this saying made me laugh as a child, I’ve held it close to my heart as I have grown into an adult. Her words remind me to always aim high, follow my dreams, and never compromise my goals.
Working at Bliss Pelvic Health is a dream come true. It was created as a haven for those with pelvic floor dysfunction, functioning as a safe and supportive environment for individuals to crush their goals and return to their active lifestyles. I absolutely cherish the fact that I am able to work with each individual one on one during each and every session. It is a place where I am constantly supported, inspired, and uplifted.
It is my utmost desire for each and every woman to know that you do not have to suffer unnecessarily with pelvic floor dysfunction. There IS hope and there is help! I want you to cough, sneeze, and laugh with confidence without worry about urinary leakage. I want you to be able to enjoy intimacy without pain, while experiencing pleasure and reaching orgasm! I want you to crush your workouts without worrying about Diastasis Recti. I want you to make it through your whole day without the thought of pelvic pain crossing your mind. I want you to get back to running without having to worry about urinary leakage or pelvic pressure/heaviness. I want you to have great poops and not have to worry about constipation or accidental loss of gas or stool. I want you to lift your kiddos without low back pain. Let’s invite more joy and freedom into your life. It would be my honor and privilege to guide you in this journey to reaching your goals!
I am deeply in love with my handsome hubby and enjoy spending time with him every chance I get! I enjoy spending time with my precious family and visiting them often. I love staying active by working out at my local gym and going on long walks through my neighborhood. My guilty pleasure is most definitely shopping! I also love being social and hanging out with friends either at the beach, out to eat, or through a competitive game night.
